CHRISTLETON B will face Broughton Wings in the HS Drennan Cup Final at the Conservative Club on May 23.
Steve Williams (Cons) won the first frame against Andy Mumford, before Barry Davis levelled matters with a 40 point win over Eddie Jenkins
Two of the league's top players faced each other in a game of Billiards, and Neal Jones ran out the winner aft
er being given a 16-start by Wayne Amey

Finn Gallagher held the upper hand most of his frame against Jason Taylor who sprung into action taking the colours up to the pink.

Unfortunately he left if for Finn who followed it with the black to give Christleton their third final of the season.

In the other semi, Broughton Wings played Utd Services and Mark Jarvis started the ball rolling for Wings with a one point win over Tony McKevitt.

Veteran Harry Wah levelled with a comfortable win over non-billiards player James Coe.

Geoff Cadogan beat Steve Mountain in a close match where both players were off scratch.

Craig Formstone put Wings level again with a win over the very experienced Geoff Anderson.

In the deciding frame of snooker Paul Hughes played Martin Walsh and although he was giving Paul eight points start, Martin never seemed to get going and lost the frame 46/20.

Gareth Allen wrote his name on another trophy this season, partnering James Coe to overcome Conservative C's, Kevin Harris and Tom Donnelly in The Wrights Pairs Handicap Trophy.

It was quite a comfortable win for the Wings pair who won 2-0 – 72/40 and 71/19. Gareth had already won the Will Parry this season but went down in the Hargreaves scratch 3-2.

Ellesmere Port League fixtures, May 15: St Saviours A v Labour A; On Cue B v On Cue F; Conservative B v St Saviours C; Vauxhall C v Wings C.
