ST SAVIOURS A produced a shock victory against champions Christleton in the Chester League's CD McAllister Cup final.
St Saviours were receiving a 132 advantage off their opponents who got off to a good start with Barry Davis beating Paul Temple by a large difference of 75.

Pete Sheppard suffered defeat against Keith Osborne who did not miss a pot on his way to a
n 80 points win.

The victory put Saviours back to 137 ahead.

Chase Kirwin beat Paul Bradley by six and Joey Wynne had a good frame to beat Steve Proctor by 41

Starting the last two frames, Christleton were 90 behind, and Finn Gallagher, their promising youngster won his frame by 34 to leave Wayne Amey needing to win by 56 for the match.

He was 53 in front against Dennis Morris and in a good position to pot the green in the middle and the brown, blue, and pink for game and match.

Unfortunately for Christleton Wayne missed the green. Dennis stepped up to the table, kept his cool and potted the green, brown, blue, and pink for a hard fought victory.

Conservative B head the Ellesmere Port Summer League table after their 2-1 home win against On Cue B.

Wings C are second after a 2-1 victory at On Cue F, while St Saviours C defeated Labour A 3-0, and Vauxhall C pocketed a 3-0 home win against St Saviours A.
