Sharp Ladies gave themselves every chance of avoiding relegation after they beat Lloyds Ladies A 40-29 in the North East Wales League.
Laura Walker led her team to victory as her shooting helped Sharp overcome their opponents.

Lloyds centre Sophie Morgan tried in vain to spearhead a comeback as her side bid to finish in the play-off places.

If Deeside Devils record a win in th
eir final game of the season Lloyds will miss out on the play-offs having been in the top four most of the campaign.

Already-relegated Hafod Johnstown suffered a close 44-39 defeat to travelling Deeside Demons.

Gemma Bamford was outstanding for Demons who had only six players. Goal attack Laura Davies produced some excellent shooting for the hosts but ended up on the losing side in a closely fought contest.

Mold Sports thumped bottom side Holywell Ladies 70-24 but still missed out on a promotion spot after they failed to win by a big enough margin in Division Two.

Needing to overcome Deeside's goal difference, Mold fell ten points short of gaining a top two spot.

Sophie Jones earned player of the match for Holywell while Sarah Prowell was in superb form for the visitors.

Sharp Scruples managed to avenge defeat by Diva earlier in the season with a 37-33 away win.

Helen Salisbury led from the front for Sharp with Cath Drummond unlucky to end up on the losing side for the home team.

Mold Dragons clinched promotion to Division Two after they beat Flint Foxes 54-16 and Rhosnesni Ravens lost away at Holywell Hawks 37-29.

Dragons were inspired by the shooting form of Ellen Zachary.

Nicky Kaye battled hard for Flint but Mold, and particularly Zachary, proved too strong.

Jade Davies led Holywell to a surprise victory over Rhosnesni as she scored some excellent goals.

Steph Morris was the outstanding Raven player but Davies had the edge over her marker.
