TWO young Flintshire players, Gareth Roden and Adam Wilson, have made Welsh international debut appearances.
Gareth, from Old Padeswood, and Adam, from Mold, represented the five-strong Wales Under 14s squad in the Reid's Trophy.
The six-handicappers competed in the event held at Coxmoor, Nottinghamshire, against other teams who had travelled from all over Europe.
The duo are hoping to be included in the Welsh and Flintshire winter training squads from October.
Both players were coached last winter by Wrexham club professional, Paul Williams, at Clays, in the Welsh squad, and by Holywell professional, Matt Parsley, in the Flintshire squad.
