CHESHIRE CUP - VAUXHALL MOTORS' youngsters demonstrated their potential with a string of Cheshire Cup victories.
The Under-13s made progress to the next round on the back of a remarkable penalty shoot-out success the previous week, after 24 spot kicks were taken.

A superb hat-trick by Keiran Smith saw the Motormen's U17s cruise into a comfortable 4-0 lead in
side the opening half hour against Greenleas in their tie.

The other early goal came from Alex Gregson, who also completed his hat-trick in the 64th minute of the one-sided game. Also on target were Tony Lloyd (2), Nathan Morton and Matty Boyd, as they ran out 10-0 victors.

The Under-15's took up their county cup challenge and after an early scare against Neston Nomads, waltzed through 9-3 winners.

Leading the way was striker Finlay who bagged a hat-trick before the interval and finished the day with four goals to his name, while there were also contributions from Pearson, Lawrinson, Gorman, Smythe and Hennessey.

Meanwhile, Vauxhall Motors have rearranged their outstanding Blue Square North fixture at home to Blyth Spartans for Tuesday, October 28 (ko 7.45pm).

The Motormen are next in action away to Solihull Moors this Saturday, followed by a visit to the Motassist Arena the following Saturday by Workington.
