FOOTBALL: Motor man moves on

CONFERENCE NORTH - STRIKER Nic Robinson has left Vauxhall Motors after a short spell with the club.
Manager Carl Macauley was unable to guarantee Robinson first team football and agreed to part company.
Motors are without a game tomorrow after being knocked out of the FA Cup 3-2 by Southport who have been rewarded with a third qualifying round home tie against Boston United.
Vauxhall's next home match is scheduled to take place at Rivacre Park against Workington on Saturday, October 25, (3pm).
Motors then entertain Blyth Spartans at Rivacre Park, on Tuesday, October 28, (7.45pm).
Blue Square North clubs in FA Cup third qualifying round action tomorrow include Buxton who entertain Blyth Spartans, and Droylsden who face Gateshead at the Butchers Arms.
Harrogate Town travel to Eastwood Town, and Alfreton face Ilkeston Town, while Stalybridge Celtic entertain Durham City at Bower Fold.
Meanwhile, Fleetwood Town have secured the loan services of forward David McNiven following the departure of Phil Denney who has moved to Guiseley – currently placed second in the UniBond Premier Division.
Denney made 130 league and cup appearance for Fleetwood.
He scored 33 goals during his Town career, the latest strike being against Harrogate Town which helped Fleetwood through to the Setanta Shield Second Round.
Meanwhile, David McNiven has joined Fleetwood Town on loan from Stafford Rangers.
The former Chester City centre forward joins the Highbury club on a one month deal and brings a wealth of experience, most recently with Stafford Rangers and Morecambe.
He made a late substitute appearance for Morecambe in the 2006-07 Nationwide Conference play-off final win at Wembley Stadium against Exeter City.
Fleetwood will be attempting to capitalise on home advantage tomorrow in the cup against Frickley Athletic.
Hinckley United travel to Hitchin Town, and AFC Telford United make the trip to Hendon, while Kings Lynn travel to Wroxham, and Tamworth play host to East Thurrock United.
Hucknall Town face probably one of the toughest tests of the round at
Newcastle Blue Star on Sunday.
