Outside of the Cymru Alliance, the main focus is in the Welsh Cup and eight local sides are involved in preliminary round games.
There is the all Wrexham derby involving Borras Park Albion and Brickfield Rangers who have made an immensely shrewd move to bring Keith McBurney back as manager.

He has made several useful signings and these include Darren Jones, Darryl Hilson, C
raig Edwards, Owen Williams and Liam White from Gresford, Danny Roberts, Kevin Roberts and Andrew Ruscoe, plus Barry Martin, Nathan Buckley and Alex Mills.

Bow Street awaits Overton who make the rare trip South and Castell Alun Colts will be aware of Presteigne St Andrews pedigree. News from the Colts camp is that manager Gary Crewe has lost keeper Ben Jones to Mynydd Isa but but he has snapped up ex Brymbo and Rhydymwyn's Rob Williams as a replacement. Michael Pritchard will be in the squad but missing are Tom Crewe, Dave McIntyre and Luke Walker.

Glyn Ceiriog have opted to have a crack at Welsh Cup football but Coedpoeth United will prove to be a tricky first hurdle.

Venture Community know a win tomorrow at home to Dyfffryn Banw will land them a money spinning tie at home to LEX XI in the next round.
Corwen meet up with Bethesda and both of these sides have Cymru Alliance ambitions.

Corwen boss Huw Jones confirmed that the game is switched to Bethesda and in line for a debut will be Jack Tyrer from Bala, but they have lost Gethin Edwards, Eilir Edwards is now with Ruthin and Elfyn Roberts has opted to join Llandyrnog.
