WELSH PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEWS - Airbus midfielder Mark Cadwallader praised manager Craig Harrison ahead of their trip to Aberystwyth's Park Avenue on Sunday, (2.30pm).
Cadwallader arrived at the Airfield in the summer, after Jim Hackett's departure, from rivals Gap Connah's Quay, and the former Chester City youth is delighted with the move.
"It is the best decision I have made," he said. "Craig has so much belief in me, and was chasing me throughout last season after he came to Airbus.
"He has assembled a really good squad of young talented players, and the football we play is exciting and a credit to him.
"There is a mutual respect between us, and I opted for Airbus instead of Leigh RMI or staying at Nomads because of the relationship we have and the experience and knowledge he can provide.
"He has worked at heights I can only dream of. I want to gain some of his knowledge because I have not given up hope of playing at a higher level."
The 20-year-old continued by admitting that stats do not always tell the whole story following two red cards and four yellow's in five league matches.
"I have been unlucky," he said. "Some of the yellow cards have been questionable, but one sending off was for the team.
"We were winning 1-0 against Newtown, and I knew if I fouled a player I would be sent off, but if I didn't there was a good chance he could score.
"I brought him down and didn't even bother looking at the referee because I knew I was off, but we won the game, so I did it for the team."
With unbeaten Aberystwyth welcoming the Wingmakers at the weekend, Cadwallader desperately wants three points.
"If we win on Sunday and Connah's Quay lose at Rhyl we will be level on points," he said. "With us playing them next Friday it will give the game some extra spice.
"Being my old club I want to show them what they are missing, and three points is an ideal way of doing that."
Jon Slater is set to miss the rest of the month with patella tendonitis, while Ashley Williams and Gareth Caughter remain doubts.
