Hughes said: "It would be good to see us finishing the cam
paign with a good performance, but we face a tough match as Cammell Laird will have their eyes focused on a second place finish.
"I've been pleased to see us achieve our main objective of retaining West Cheshire League Division One status, and it was good to see us lifting the Chester FA Senior Cup on Friday night.
"We've regrouped and reassessed our position at the club and brought on a number of under 18s players since losing up to 14 players at the start of the season."
Hughes admitted that he was likely to be without Paul Kenyon, Sean Kilgannon, and Tom Ward for tonight's match, and striker Simon Wilkinson remained a doubtful starter.
