The club skipper is hoping he can contribute towards a much-needed win at home to Mobberley in Division Two of the Cheshire County League.
Mulvihill has now recovered from a leg operation and is looking forward to playing a key role in the contest
.
"I'm expecting a very tight game against Mobberley because they are a good side and a dangerous side," he said.
"We need to play cricket the way we know we can because the wickets at Tattenhall have been excellent this season.
"With Barry Mitchell also returning we have a team that is close to full strength and that can bat all the way down to number nine."
Mulvihill, who will return to action alongside Mitchell and Graham Harper, remains confident that Tattenhall can maintain their bid for promotion as the season draws to an end.
He added: "It's tight at the top of our division, but it's been tight for most of the season.
"I'm hoping that being overtaken by Grappenhall last weekend and having our game called off at Sale will give us a shot in the arm.
"We've been sitting pretty in second place for quite a while, but it should help to realise that one result can drag us down the table.
"Everyone at Tattenhall is still looking to win promotion and we're focusing on that, but we're not getting carried away.
"Our goal has always been to win promotion and our performances have been good, but we have to work hard to achieve our objective."
