Boughton Hall made 211 which included a fine 94 not out from Andy Pembroke. He was well supported by Bob Evans' 21 and 38 from all-rounder Mike Robinson. Pembroke and Robinson added 120 for the fifth wicket.

Skipper Andy Robinson took the bowling plaudits with 4-22, Jack Williams bagged 2-14, Dan Riley 2-19 and Jamie Ducker 1-28.

The match was heading for a draw with Bramhall's last pair batting for 11 overs before the oldest player on the field - veteran Pete Babbage - was bowled by the youngest, 13 year old Matt Robinson - with three overs remaining.

Christleton seconds suffered a defeat in their match against Middlewich.
Christleton reduced the home side to 27 for 2 after 13 overs.

Middlewich eventually declared on 243.

In reply, Christleton opened with Chris Brooks and Chris Baker and proceeded to make an excellent start due to the poor bowling.

Baker fell which prompted debutant Damien Mee to the crease. Mee and Brooks managed to hang around before Brooks misjudged a yorker and was bowled for 50. There was little resistance apart from Andy Heyland from the remaining batsmen and Christleton were bowled out for a disappointing total of 144.

Boughton Hall thirds scored a winning draw in their match at Brooklands.

Delat Gulzar skippered the thirds and deserved more than a draw after seeing Byron Ward hit 140 not out.

Chris Mather hit 31 in Boughton Hall's final total of 225-5 declared.

Brooklands made a decent fist of things but in the end held out for a draw, 37 runs short. Mike Henderson took 2-21 for Chester and Mike Concannon, 1-18.

Boughton Hall fourths, fielding nine men and one woman, lost against new entrants Brooklands Sale Moor.

Opening bowlers Martin Huber (2-37) and Cliff Mallows (1-35), James Miln (2-28), and Katie Coppack (4-18 off five overs) helped dismiss Brooklands for 130 in 34 overs.

In reply, Chester had Matt Williams and John Thistlewood try to rescue the situation, before Martin Huber, Katie Coppack and Steve Coppack gave some hope of recovery.

However, despite Jamie Wood returning to the crease for the last wicket, Chester were all out for 92 in the 41st over.
