Knife charge Chester man is bailed

A MAN has been charged with carrying a knife following reports of an incident at a doctor's surgery in Chester.
Police were called to the Western Avenue surgery in Blacon at about 3.10pm yesterday.

Gary Newman, 44, of Plas Dinas, Blacon, was charged with possessing a knife and using threatening words or behaviour.

He was granted conditional bail and will appear before Chester magistrates on August 6.
