A SELF-confessed love rat from Chester is to appear on TV again – this time putting prospective personal assistants through their paces.
Chester businessman Peter Rosenfeld will be appearing in a four-part Channel 4 lifestyle documentary, called Personal Services Required.

The show will see Peter 'road-testing' three PA candidates with a view to employing one of them.

Peter, of Dalewood Crescent, Elton, appeared on Sky One's Jerry Springer show Nothing But the Truth earlier this year, where he revealed he was 'juggling several girlfriends'.

He was approached by the producers of Personal Services Required after appearing on the quiz show and was asked to take part.

Peter, owner of BusyBus Adventure Sightseeing Tours, said the programme was filmed in Chester in December and scenes were shot at several locations around the city, including the River Dee and walls.

He said: "When I was leaving the Jerry Springer show I was approached by the people who asked me to take part in this one. So in December I was the employer and road-tested potential assistants.

"The people were genuine applicants for a personal assistant's job and it was advertised in London. They all knew they were being filmed.

"The filming was very intense and there were a minimum of six people with me for the whole time.

"It was very hands on, seven days a week."

The series aims to provide an insight into the task of employing someone to work both within a business and a private life.

He added: "It does feature my love life but doesn't concentrate on me being the love rat. They were cooking for me, ironing my shirts and cleaning the house. It's tongue-in-cheek TV. At the very end there were lots of good Big Brother-style arguments, but it wouldn't make a good TV programme without it.

"I'm looking forward to seeing it, but I'm a bit nervous.

"I'm not worried though because it's all fun. I'm 45 and having the time of my life on TV at the moment."

Personal Services Required will go out on Channel 4 this Wednesday at 9pm.
