Hoodie robs man in Chester street

A MAN was punched in the face and knocked to the ground in the second street robbery in Chester in a week.
The 22-year-old man was walking down Brook Street, Newtown, near Sportster Motorcycles and the Chester Comic Company at about 12.15am on Monday when the attack happened.
Two men approached him and asked him for a cigarette and then punched him in the face so that he fell to the ground.
Investigating officer DC Alan Faddes said: "He was knelt on and kicked as he was on the ground."
The attackers demanded money, his cash cards and jewellery from him but only escaped with some silver bracelets.
