A Handbag of Harmonies will feature on the BBC's new Saturday-night programme, Last Choir Standing.
The all-female choir is through to the last 60 in the contest, which received more than 1,000 entries.
The show sees choirs from around the country singing in order to win over judges and viewers at home.
The Handbags, as they are known to their fans, are a group of women singers from the Chester area who are known for their upbeat performances of popular songs by the likes of Dusty Springfield, Judy Garland, Stevie Wonder and Queen.
All arrangements for the songs are original, and are composed by musical director Matt Baker, who has also written the score for the this year's Chester Mystery Plays, currently being performed at Chester Cathedral.
The Handbags have a string of high-profile performances under their belt, and have sung at the Manchester Pride festival and aboard an open-top bus travelling through the centre of Bath – as well as London's Bloomsbury Theatre.
But tomorrow's TV appearance will represent their biggest challenge yet.
Thousands applied, but only 60 of the best choirs were invited to London to audition in front of the expert panel of judges, made up of opera star Russell Watson, actress Sharon D. Clark and world-famous conductor Suzie Digby.
If the Handbags make it through the auditions they will go through to the live shows, where the public gets chance to vote.
Last Choir Standing, hosted by Myleene Klass and Nick Knowles, goes out on BBC One at 7.45pm tomorrow.
