Cheshire Farm Ice Cream, based at Tattenhall, near Chester, is hosting a special event on Sunday, July 20, to raise money for Save the Family.
The charity, which provides emergency accommodation, training and support to homeless families from Nort
h Wales and Cheshire, will also be running a stall at the farm.
A range of hand-crafted gifts and charity merchandise will be on sale, along with a selection of more than 30 flavours of ice cream.
A percentage of all money made on the day will be donated to Save the Family.
The proceeds will help fund a £3.6m development of the charity's new 26-unit accommodation centre at Cotton Hall Farm, Christleton.
Jo Young, corporate fundraiser for Save the Family, said: "We'd like as many people as possible to visit Cheshire Farm Ice Cream.
"As well as being a great excuse to indulge in some ice cream, it's a chance for people to help those families who are less fortunate.
"They'll also be able to discover more about our work, our exciting plans for the future and our determination to help hundreds more families break the devastating cycle of homelessness."
Since it was established 30 years ago, Save the Family has helped more than 5,000 families find their feet and every night, 150 people depend on the charity for a roof over their heads.
Founded by Edna Speed MBE, of Chester, the charity, which has a centre at Plas Bellin Hall, Northop Hall, is only able to deal with 12 per cent of the families referred to it.
