Seven arrests over stabbing of men

Police have arrested seven people after two men were seriously assaulted in Great Harwood, Lancashire.
The incident took place on Blackburn Road at 11.25pm on Friday.

Two men received stab wounds, and were treated at the Royal Blackburn Hospital where they are in a serious condition.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

An 18-year-old and 19-year-old man from Accrington, and two 19-year-olds from Blackburn, were arrested on Friday on suspicion of wounding with intent.

Three further suspects from Great Harwood, aged 19, 22 and 25, were arrested on Saturday.
