Chester City boss Simon Davies has been anxious to reveal why the on loan striker from Vauxhall Motors had only started once for the Blues since being signed from the non-league club.
Davies has been angered by Taylor's failure to attend training sessions and accused the forward of indiscipline.
The 21-year-old pulled out of Saturday's game on the morning of the match saying he was unwell, the same reason he gave a month ago when he pulled out of the Grimsby match.
Davies said: "Paul Taylor will be getting disciplined again by the club.
"We've kept it under wraps for quite a while now - he's already had a verbal warning, and a written warning. He'll now be getting his final written warning and he is an exception to the rule.
"Everyone is regularly training and wanting the best for Chester City, but he does what he wants and that won't be allowed to happen any longer.
"A lot of things have been going on behind the scenes. I know a lot of fans have been having a bit of a pop at me for maybe not starting him.
But he does not deserve to start a football match for this club, and that's why he hasn't been starting.
"His discipline is, to say the least, poor, and that will be addressed.
"The problem will be addressed in house. It's a matter I would like to shout about but I can't and I only feel so strongly about it because of the passion that the other squad members are showing which is 100 per cent commitment in morning and afternoon training sessions, and in games like Saturday's we could have easily lay down, rolled over, and given away the points, but we didn't.
"But it would be wrong to be talking about Taylor because that's a negative, and there were so many positives at Chesterfield."
Taylor has only made two starts for City so far this season and had signed on loan for the club with a view to permanently joining the Blues in January.
Meanwhile, Davies reflected on Chester's battling 1-1 draw on Saturday at Chesterfield.
He said: "I didn't think we got off to the greatest of starts, but we possibly took the lead against the run of play, and that knocked them back a bit and we were then able to play.
"I thought we edged things in the first half and we knew what we were going to be up against with them playing towards their home supporters after the break.
"They sucked the ball in to a certain degree and we knew it was going to be tough. But our lads stuck at it.
"There was a slight mistake by Shaun (Kelly) for their goal, but I can't shout at Shaun because he was absolutely tremendous at Chesterfield, like everyone else in the team.
"What we have in our team is belief and a massive togetherness.
"We had a little bit of a blip a couple of games ago at home to Lincoln, but we've only been beaten once in our last eight games which shows we're a tough team to beat.
"I know we're going to have to add a few wins to these performances, but there is a degree of passion there that nobody can buy.
"We had to give Chesterfield respect, but I feel they're underachieving with the players they have got.
"I know that Lee Richardson (Chesterfield manager) is under a little bit of pressure, but they have got a budget and a team in place that is better than their mid-table position suggests.
"Chesterfield should be with Shrewsbury and Bradford, but that was what we were up against, and when we can go to Saltergate and take away a point then I feel we've done a good job.
"I would have liked all three points, but I'm not going to blame Shaun for his mistake because I know he put his body on the line and saved a couple of shots which could have ended up in the back of the net."
